1) If the planet Jupiter or Guru is the Lord of Lagna or ascendant, and the Lord of the 5th house of kids is all weak, a person will not have a son.

So here’s what’s happening: the 3 core signifactors of a child, or kid, or mainly son, that is the Jupiter or guru, 1st house or self, and 5th house or core house of kids, is affected- the chance of having a male child is very low. This could be treated as a curse from previous lives.

2) The lesser chance of having a child or male child is there if the sun or Surya dev, Mars or Mangal, Rahu or dragon’s head, and Saturn or Shani dev, are possessing strength. So also they occupy the 5th house, while the significators for children, specifically Guru and the Lord of the 5th house, are weak.

So what’s happening here is the core malefic like Mars, Rahu, and Saturn are strong and block the good energies of the 5th house of children.
