Astrology consists of several  systems of divination based on the premise that there is a relationship between astronomical phenomena and events in the human world. Many cultures have attached importance to astronomical events, and the Indians, Chinese, and Mayans developed elaborate systems for predicting terrestrial events from celestial observations.

Are there any Common Points between Google Technology by larry page / Sergey Brin & base Technology of Astrology?

Let us analyze if there is anything common in search technology developed in stanford labs and labs of India by the vedic rishis.

What Technology does Google Use at the Base?:

• Now lets look at Google first- it’s primarily a search engine for the internet. The next question is – “what is an internet?”

In very simple terms Internet means-a collected of worlds computers connected to each other so that they can talk to each other( From one computer to other). Simple!

• Next question is – that how do the computers of the world talk to each other? Simple- use of wires or wireless communications( our mobile is a good example of a wireless communication).
• While the computers talk to each other- they talk in simple ZERO’s and ONE’s, nothing else. Also the ZERO’s and ONE’s are simple ELECTROMAGNETIC SIGNALS, that get transmitted through wire or through air(wireless).

What Technology does Astrology Use at the Base?:

• Now before we get into this, let’s get a brief about Vedic Astrology. Vedic Astrology was developed by ancient seers- who had accurate knowledge of universe based on their intuition developed by long and deep meditation and they used Human body as an instrument  for experimentation.
• The Speed Of Light Given In Vedas
• The fourth verse of the Rigvedic hymn 1:50 (50th hymn in book 1 of rigveda) is as follows:
• taranirvisvadarsato jyotishkridasi surya | visvama bhasirocanam ||
• Based on calculations suggested in the verse , the speed of light has been found to corroborate to what modern scientists have found!

As per the Rig Veda the speed of light is 189,547 miles per second.

As per modern science the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second!

• There are many other startling things the ancients have discovered- but the time and space is less to elaborate the same. These illumined masters , who knew that not only earth went around the sun, but our entire solar system went around the galactic center. They with intuitive conviction knew that based on a planetary position in the zodiac, positive or negative vibrations are sent across to humans and earth, and affect the behaviour of the mundane events.
• These vibrations are pranic in nature, but still not  measurable easily by present  instruments- as they are much finer in nature than  electromagnetic radiations, those are used say while using internet.
• Essentially this is PRANA or CHI, and is the Life Force emanating  here from the planets , which are  sending positive or negative energy  to our planet earth.
• Prana in some sense is similar to electromagnetic radiation and is connected to thought(The universal mind)- please refer to sri jadish Chandra Bose’s experiment of thoughts done on plants, over 100 years back– given below in appendix for reference. That proves thoughts have an effects on plant life and behaviour.
• So it is clear that there are many subtle forces like thoughts/prana(chi or life force) is there and is a distant cousin of Electromagnetic radiations used in the INTERNET

What Kind of Other Common Problems does Astrology and Google Solve?

You  may laugh J – but it is all true that both of them( Google & astrology) do solve the problem of ANALYTICS apart from other problems. Google does a lot of web analytics and astrology, human analytics.

Why treating astrology as analytic tool makes sense- I will leave it here and address it in a different article later

• a)Calculation of the Speed of Light from the Rig Veda:
• So now we can calculate what is the value of the speed of light in modern units based on the value given as 2202 yojanas in 1/2 nimisha
• = 2,202 x 9.09 miles per 0.1056 seconds
  = 20,016.18 miles per 0.1056 seconds
  = 189,547 miles per second
• b)Wikipedia(Jagdish bose experiment with Plants and thoughts):
• Bengali scientist Jagadish Chandra Bose, began to conduct experiments on plants in the year 1900. He found that every plant and every part of a plant appeared to have a sensitive nervous system and responded to shock by a spasm just as an animal muscle does.
• In addition Bose found that plants grew more quickly amidst pleasant music and more slowly amidst loud noise or harsh sounds. He also claimed that plants can “feel pain, understand affection etc.,” from the analysis of the nature of variation of the cell membrane potential of plants under different circumstances. According to him, a plant treated with care and affection gives out a different vibration compared to a plant subjected to torture.
